The Olympic Council of Asia has introduced the titles for the debut of esports as an official medal activity at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in September 2022.
There will be 8 medal gatherings, as well as two demonstration video games, reflecting the acceptance and advancement of electronic sporting activities in China and Asia. The announcement of the online games titles was designed on the to start with day of the two-working day Chefs de Mission Seminar movie meeting for the 19th Asian Online games on Wednesday, September 8.

The Asian Digital Sports activities Federation, which is primarily based in Hong Kong, China, has been appointed Complex Delegate of the esports competitors at the 19th Asian Video games by the OCA. The AESF will be in charge of the qualifying level of competition and for the procedure and administration of the esports competitiveness in Hangzhou.

Take note: Esports was included to the Asian Games sporting activities programme at the OCA Typical Assembly in Muscat, Oman on December 16, 2020. It was a demonstration activity at the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia in 2018, which means that medals did not depend in the official medal rankings.
